It is a university of agricultural education and research as well as other sciences such as engineering, economics and information technology located in the capital Prague and was founded in 1906. The University offers bachelor's and master's programs based on the ECTs common system for the recognition of university degrees within any European university and doctoral programs. The university currently has 40 programs taught in English, about 15 of which are in bachelor's studies and 25 in master's studies and have more than 4,000 students.
It comprises 7 colleges:
